What You Made Possible

Resilient Gardens, Montreal

Environmental & Inclusion Project

In Montreal, you enable people experiencing homelessness and members of Indigenous communities to transform a neighbourhood. Together, they create an urban garden that unites environment and social inclusion: gardening workshops, biodiversity promoted, ancestral knowledge shared and heat islands combated, while valuing everyone’s expertise and strengthening collective resilience—a place where every person finds their place and grows hope.

When one project inspires another

The Resilient Gardens project generated an unexpected multiplier effect: the Inuit artists who collaborated there created their own autonomous artists’ cooperative. This new organization continues to carry the environmental and social mission by developing gardening projects that promote inclusion of Indigenous community members in Milton-Parc and surrounding areas. Your initial support continues to multiply, creating expanding circles of inclusion and autonomy.

When protection inspires ambition

ReSea‘s success feeds an even bigger project: the Great Blue Wall. This visionary initiative aims to protect 30% of the western Indian Ocean by 2030 by connecting the efforts of 15 countries. Your support for ReSea thus contributes to creating the world’s largest collaborative marine protection network, showing how each local action contributes to global impact.

ReSea Program, Indian Ocean

Marine Protection, Empowerment and Gender Equality

In five Indian Ocean countries where coastal communities depend on the sea to survive, you support a program that unites marine protection and women’s empowerment. Together, they learn to preserve the oceans while developing sustainable economic activities: leadership training, creation of environmentally respectful businesses and participatory management of marine resources. More than 8,000 people, including 53% women, are transforming their daily lives—a model where each community becomes guardian of its ocean and builds its future.
