Mission inclusion continues its mission of social inclusion across Quebec with enthusiasm. Thanks to the generosity of individual and corporate donors, we have granted over $546,000 in funding to 15 community organizations across six regions as part of our 2023 spring grants program.

Locally-rooted initiatives

The four primary areas of intervention targeted this year are youth, children and families, homelessness, and seniors.
The 15 projects funded by Mission inclusion directly respond to needs expressed within communities, whether urban or rural.

Focus on the inclusion of seniors in all their diversity

The West Island LGBTQ2+ Centre in Montreal will receive $45,000 in funding over three years to provide sexual and gender-diverse seniors with a safe space for self-expression, personal development, and community building.

The Carrefour d’Action Interculturelle in Quebec City, supported with $25,000, will carry out the “Seniors in Diversity” project to break isolation among immigrant seniors and facilitate their access to adapted services.

For our partner organizations

These two projects are but a few inspiring examples of the impact that the tireless work of community organizations can have when supported by Mission inclusion and its solidary partners.

At Mission inclusion, we firmly believe that social inclusion is imperative in every region of Quebec. That is why 49% of our grant funds are allocated to initiatives outside major urban centres. The challenges are significant, but so is the determination of our partner organizations!
