Taking action around the world

Supporting women and their families
A case in point: Burkina Faso

More than one in two Burkinabes live below the poverty line.

In Burkina Faso, the Covid-19 health crisis, attacks by armed jihadist troops and climate change have significantly impoverished communities throughout the country.

Empowering communities

Working closely with its local partners on the ground (APIL, AFDR, USSCPA), Mission Inclusion currently provides support to over 20,000 Burkinabes and aims to support more communities, with your help.

Mission Inclusion is helping thousands of Burkinabe women recover land, which they can work and cultivate. It is also helping them generate income and protecting families from food and health insecurity. The goal is to give local communities access to education, health services and financial independence.

Testimonials from the field

« Before I had no access to land for farming. Now I’m a farmer! I grow cowpeas, sorghum and groundnuts. Every season, I grow everything. I have four children and thanks to Mission Inclusion, we have what we need. I can feed them, pay for schooling, clothing, and healthcare. I am more hopeful now and I want this to continue so that others can get ahead too. »
Limata Zono, agricultural producer and general secretary of the – TEGWENDE cooperative in Tangaye, Burkina Faso
« With the support of Mission Inclusion, we will continue to equip and train our communities to reclaim the soil through agro-ecological practices. The women will start market gardens and grow moringa, onions and tomatoes to sell. It isn’t enough just to give communities food. We need to help them generate income and rebuild their lives. We need to work together to get ahead. »
